As a New York City high school principal with an affinity for the culinary arts, I often find my peace of mind in the kitchen. Having roots in both Greece and Iran encouraged my interest in ethnic cuisine early in my life. Working in some popular NYC restaurants, years ago, as a bartender, built on this passion. Pork and Chive Dumplings at Lao Kou Wei
The dumplings were crispy, chewy, porky, chivy deliciousness. EIGHT dumplings for $2.75, WHAT!?!?!?
A true Elmhurst gem. Totally worth the hike from Manhattan! Let me know when you're ready to get on the 7 train.
